Renowned figure Brian Eno, who contributes to the track, stated that the song titled Lullaby represents a opportunity to support Palestinians during the holidays. He remarked the potential for an unlikely festive coup.

“That would be amazing if that occurred, yes,” he said. “I wouldn't be completely let down if it doesn't manage to, festive releases are a thing unto themselves.”

Powerful Theme of Self-Determination

Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, who features in the version of a cultural piece called Yamma Mwel El Hawa, explained the track's defiant core message.

“It occupies a very special place for a lot of people,” Barghouti said. “The essence is that I would prefer a dignified death than spend my life without freedom. That’s the main theme of the song; we want to live a respectful existence that we deserve as Palestinians.”

The single was laid down after a solidarity show held in the autumn. First conceived to be captured during the live event, the piece was shelved during the concert due to time constraints.

The diverse array of artists appearing on Lullaby encompasses a group of well-known figures from the scene. All took part in the September show, which managed to collect a substantial amount for charitable causes.

Lullaby was crafted by a team of talented individuals. The song blends a fusion of the traditional Arabic lyrics with contemporary English verses.

The organizers behind the initiative have clarified that their aim is to generate maximum funds for a specific fund. These proceeds will be distributed to projects in Palestine through an partnering humanitarian organization.

“We haven't set a rigid aim,” a spokesperson said. “We will pursue whatever we can get. Of course, the greater the amount, the better. Every penny goes out to Gaza.”

The reality in the area was characterized as its extreme devastation, with a vast majority of property said to be levelled or seriously harmed.

“Given that reality, a handful of millions is unlikely to make an enormous impact. But I think what truly matters is primarily raising awareness for this issue and proving there’s another side to the story.”
