Passionate followers of the actress are calling for that a person who jumped a fence and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was due to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram account features videos of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Grande's Safety

Numerous followers criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also criticised security officers at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.
